Imaging USA 2016 was incredible!

Imaging USA is the longest running national photographic convention, expo and image exhibition in the United States, drawing thousands of professionals from around the world. Dating back to 1880, when it began as the annual convention and trade show for Professional Photographers of America, the event is always growing and evolving. This year the show was held at the Georgia World Congress Center, January 10-12, 2016.

Major components of Imaging USA are the three-day Imaging EXPO trade show, several all-inclusive parties and presentations by some of the biggest names in the photographic industry. Imaging USA's renowned educational classes are geared to improve a photographer's business skills, photographic repertoire and use of technologies.

The expo show was so much fun! All the latest gear, software, print products and just about everything you can dream up was on display. Some of the greatest photographers in the world were teaching thousands of other talented photogs in this annual event. At Imaging USA you will always improve your skills and be inspired by the most amazing pictures you will ever see on display.

On Monday while at the expo show I walked around and shot video of all the vendor booths and photographers in attendance. The video rig that I used created quite a stir. Everyone was asking, "what is your setup!". I used my Ipad Air 2 to record the video, mounted in a IOGRAPHER case, Rode VideoMic Go for audio and this amazing small light called the Lume Cube. I used IMovie video editing app that is standard on an Ipad to create the video. Here is the video enjoy...

I also got to meet international award winning photographer Sal Cincotta. He is one of the most influential photographers in the world. Great guy as well, always willing to be a help.
