Back in January of this year at Imaging USA in Atlanta I took a sports photography class with Terrell Lloyd and Jeff Lewis. Terrell is the team photography of the San Francisco 49ers. Jeff is a free lance sports photographer for the Associated Press. Great class! Pictured here is Terrell and myself. I had forgotten I had these pictures.

"Need For Speed" movie scene being shot at the Swan Drive-in this June

Big news for my hometown Blue Ridge, Georgia! A major motion picture will have one of the scenes shot at the Swan Drive-in. It is scheduled for June 19th and 20th. The Need for Speed movie will be released in 2014.

Tammy Smith Casting was in town yesterday looking for cars and extras to be used in the movie. Hot rods from the 1950's to modern day muscle lined the streets of downtown. It was quite a sight to see! The Fannin County Relay for Life car show was held with the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. 100's of people got in line to have their picture taken in hopes of being used as an extra in the movie. Car owners as well submitted their car for consideration to be used in the movie. I have always wanted to be an extra in a movie. So I had my picture made as well. Good luck to those who applied! This would be really cool to take part in this movie. Who would have ever thought my little hometown would ever be a part of a major motion picture! Cant wait to see the movie!
