The North Georgia area only sees a handful of snows each winter. On Friday it snowed pretty good in Blue Ridge, so photographer Randy Gray took off to Hiawassee, Ga on Saturday morning. Bell Mountain in the snow got him very excited at what photographic scenes were just waiting to be captured. Only 4 wheel drive vehicles with mods can make it to the top of the mountain. Randy parked at the bottom of the last hill and hiked to the top. After a 45 mile drive on snowy roads and a 3/4 mile hike over rocks WOW what a view. One of Gods creations at its best. 20 degree weather and 50+ mph winds would not hinder this photographer. Tripod setup was blown over during the day, but thank God it hit on the lens hood and the Canon 6D was spared.
Also I group of Jeeps came up and added to the photography fun! It was an awesome day hope you enjoy the images and the video that was created.
